The first written reference of the farmhouse is in a document from 1545. Built during the 16 century and extended in the later period, the house has been recently renovated by the famous architects, in a careful process that blends tradition and modernity. It has a lovely fireplace that is lighted in winter and an authentic solid wood table almost four meters long completely restored. The kitchen is not only where cooking takes place, but it is also the room where the breakfast buffet is set and where the coffee breaks are served during business meetings. Here, you will enjoy local organic products delicately prepared by villa chef.
ECSP 0456 is also a perfect place to work, and therefore one of the rooms on the top level was equipped with desks and comfortable chairs to help you work during your business or leisure trips. Like in all the spaces of the house, the coworking space has free Wi-Fi. The additional screens are also available for the guests.
The hall is the central space of the ground level, and it has easy access from all the rooms. It was built in 1842 and its arched ceiling made of ceramic pieces looks impressive. There is an honesty bar, where you can serve yourself an organic juice or craft beer produced nearby.
The property houses 6 cozy and private bedrooms, and you can choose the one that is more suited for you. All of them offer their own bathroom, comfortable beds and many other amenities to help you enjoy your stay with maximum comfort and privacy.
As it is common in the authentic architecture of this region, in the south side of the house there is a flat area earlier used for farmer's needs. Nowadays, this is an charming outdoor space where you can drink vermouth or a cocktail while admiring a wonderful sunset. To one side of this space, there is a lovely chill-out, widely popular among villa guests in winter and summer evenings.
Swimming pool is the most popular place in summer. It is set separately from the house, to ensure calm and quiet to the other guests. Here you can swim while enjoying the nature around you. The swimming pool has a shallow end for kids and various loungers where to relax and sunbathe.
Next to the swimming pool and on one side of the small valley where the farmhouse is built, there is an old meadow where kids can play or where to mount a tent for events or weddings. On one of its sides, a row of olive trees was planted to offer shade and a space to unwind.
The cottage is surrounded by a wonderful oak forest that you can explore by foot or by bike. Various excursions start here and can help you to discover the Montnegre and Corredor Natural Park or enjoy famous local landmarks. If you are travelling with kids, there are shorter and flatter trials where they can visit a chestnut forest or observe the animals that live in it.
ECSP 0456 is a perfect place to discover nature. Besides Montnegre and Corredor mountain range, the Montseny Natural Park and the Maresme beaches are 10 minutes away and 20 minutes away by car, respectively. The estate is situated almost at the same distance from Barcelona and Girona, so it is a perfect location to discover both cities and enjoy their cultural attractions. The nearest village Llinars del Valles is less than 5 minutes drive away and La Roca Village outlet is less than 10 minutes drive away.
